Garden of Witches Community
Where players actually talk — and which 2025 guides you should stop sending to new witches.
Garden of Witches does not have a giant English MMO-scale Discord of 200,000 people. It has a focused official server, a Steam hub, and a handful of creators who posted real runs. That is enough if you use them correctly.
Official hangouts
- Discord invite — the one in every Team Tapas press sheet. Feedback here is what moved mouse aiming and the synergy funeral. Use the beta / feedback channels when they exist; do not ping the artist account for a relic reroll.
- Steam discussions — patch complaints, Deck reports, “is 1.0 a reinstall.”
- Steam screenshots — useful when you need to see a boss you have not met. Useless as a build guide.
Creators worth a click (and a grain of salt)
- Team Tapas YouTube — trailers, teasers, OST. Canonical visuals.
- Hitchhiker’s Guide (ulRlsYEymw4) — still the best English explanation of the run loop. Embedded on getting started. Ignore the tag lecture.
- Ganyonz first impressions — dash, Ambush, “you will not beat the first boss on attempt one.” On the combat page.
- TehNecr0 Challenge Mode — Giant / Slash / Ambush burst. On Challenge Mode. Translate tags into imprints.
- R3D story walkthrough — longform campaign capture on the walkthrough.
- Japanese Challenge clips (深軌 and others) — high-level routing. Pre-0.9.2 numbers.
- Yippee Ki Yay Mr Falcon — popular English playthrough used on the review page as a vibe check, not a stat bible.
If a creator has not said “Armory” or “imprint” on screen, they are not talking about 1.0.
How to ask for help without getting a fossil
Post:
- Patch version (1.0, not “latest”)
- Scissors + two spells + the imprint you picked
- The witch who killed you
- Whether dash still has i-frames on your difficulty card
Do not post:
- A synergy screenshot from 2025
- “Is Fireball still good” without saying which Fireball imprint
- A request for a second player. The game is single-player only.
Wiki etiquette
This site is a fan route, not a bug tracker. If Steam news contradicts a sentence here, believe Steam, then wait for the wiki to catch up. Deep links should use trailing slashes (/guides/combat/) so we do not split canonical URLs. Legal pages are English-only by design.
For the store, Discord, and socials in one list, stay on the links hub. For whether the game is actually good, read the review roundup and then spend $18.99 or do not.
Regional pockets
Korean players still treat Naver Cafe and Inven threads as first-class, because Team Tapas is a Seoul studio. Japanese players have the densest Challenge archives — that 深軌 playlist is a season of swamp clocks. English is smaller and louder on Steam discussions. French, German, and Spanish players will find fewer dedicated discords; that is why this wiki localized those three alongside English. If you post a clip, say the patch in the title. “Garden of Witches Challenge” without “1.0” is how 2025 tag advice keeps circulating.
When you share a kit, share the sentence: “Giant, Ambush, Fireball brick, Cat’s Eye.” That is readable in any language. A 12-icon screenshot is not. The Armory planner exists so you can paste a table instead of a debate. If someone answers with a 6-synergy screenshot, point them at version 1.0 once and then stop arguing. The combat rewrite is not an opinion.
Be kind in boss threads. Fiena is funny until she is not. Abigail’s farm has ended more first weekends than any curse. The boss guide is the polite way to help without calling someone a tourist. The Garden is small. We can afford manners.
