Garden of Witches Achievements and 1.0 Extras
Thirty-one Steam trophies, a Japanese main-story cast, a live DPS meter, and a cottage that does more after launch.
Garden of Witches 1.0 shipped 31 Steam Achievements. That sentence is easy to confuse with the Early Access meta that paid gold for in-game achievements and then let you buy power between runs. Those are not the same system. 0.9.2 deleted the gold-from-achievements shop and replaced it with combat EXP (cap 70). 1.0 then added real Steam trophies as a requested feature. This page is the extras sheet: trophies, voice, DPS UI, cottage interactions, and where Challenge Mode now sits.
The video in the middle is a Chapter 5 end-of-spine clip. Use it as a reminder that the main five chapters were already completable in Early Access; 1.0’s extras sit after that spine. For the actual ending, use the epilogues. For the score mode, use Challenge Mode.
Steam Achievements versus the old shop
| Then (Early Access meta) | Now (1.0) |
|---|---|
| In-game achievements printed gold | Combat EXP prints upgrade points |
| Gold bought between-run power | Armory + levels (cap 70) |
| No Steam Achievement support at launch | 31 Steam Achievements |
If a 2025 blog tells you to “farm achievements for gold,” it is an archive. Spend the run fighting. Spend the cottage on the Armory. Let Steam pop trophies in the overlay if you care; they are not a shop.
Team Tapas did not publish a public 31-row table this wiki can copy without inventing names. Read the in-game Achievement list and the Steam overlay. Expect trophies to track story beats (first witch, chapter clears, epilogue closes), build toys (own X scissors, imprint a spell), and Challenge or collection tasks. If a trophy looks missing after a 1.0 patch, check the overlay before filing a cottage bug.
Japanese voice-over (chapters 1–5)
1.0 added Japanese character voice for the main story through chapter five, with support noted from the Korea Creative Content Agency’s Game Plus export program. Epilogue VO was not in the same promise. Other language voices were described as expanding later.
Cast as listed in Team Tapas’ 1.0 notes:
- Sil — Ikumi Hasegawa (長谷川育美)
- Fiena — Hyosei (氷青)
- Abigail — Noa Honda (本田乃愛)
- Limz — Mana Koshirakawa (小白川愛菜)
- Berry — Yukina Shuto (首藤志奈)
- Chloe — Riho Sugiyama (杉山里穂)
- Canele / Nahatra — Saho Shirasu (白砂沙帆)
Steam still lists English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, and Spanish (Spain) as interface languages. This wiki is English, French, German, and Spanish. Turn VO on in settings if you want the greenhouse to talk back; the Fiena fight does not change.
DPS UI
The 0.10.0 pre-launch beta (24 August 2026) added a live DPS UI so you can see current damage during combat. 1.0 shipped it. It is a read, not a build. If Giant Scissors looks weak on the meter, you are probably dropping Sharpness on a slam. If Fireball looks weak, you are probably tapping a Charge skill. Use the number to audit identity, then change the Armory, not the soundtrack.
Cottage, difficulty, Challenge
Sil’s house gained extra interactions in 1.0. The Book still does chapter select after chapter five. After Epilogue 3, the same house becomes a Challenge Mode cottage and the door is how you pick the Challenge. That unlock is new relative to Early Access, which let Challenge in after chapter-four options. Details: epilogues and Challenge Mode.
Difficulty names and Challenge’s place in the game were retuned for 1.0. Read the in-game cards. Some older Hard notes mentioned dash i-frames disappearing. If a live card still says that, believe the card.
What this page will not be
A fake 31-row table with invented trophy names. A synergy calculator. A trainer. Steam and the Book are the live lists. This wiki’s job is to stop you from confusing 2025 gold with 2026 trophies, and to point the extras at the pages that actually play: getting started, 1.0 notes, system requirements if the overlay is stuttering the DPS meter.
Price stayed $18.99. Launch week discounted Steam and, in some regions, Stove. Achievements are included. You do not buy the Japanese VO as DLC; it is in the 1.0 build for chapters 1–5. The OST remains a separate soundtrack DLC if you want the jazz without the sickle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about Garden of Witches 1.0.
How many Steam achievements does Garden of Witches 1.0 have?
31. They are Steam trophies, not the old gold shop deleted in 0.9.2.
Does Japanese voice cover the epilogues?
1.0 promised VO for the main story through chapter 5. Epilogue VO was not in that sentence. Check the in-game language menu.
Where is the DPS meter?
A combat DPS UI shipped with 1.0 after appearing in the 0.10.0 beta. Look for it in the HUD / settings, not in a trainer.
Do I need every achievement to unlock Challenge Mode?
No. Challenge Mode unlocks after Epilogue 3, then from Sil's house.
