Garden of Witches Witch Roster
Every named witch you drag to the tea party — and the cat who judges you for it.
Use this roster as a cast sheet. Combat tells live on the boss guide. Chapter order lives on the walkthrough. Sil’s kit lives on her page. Fiena’s greenhouse lives on hers. Abigail’s farm lives on hers. Nahatra’s metaphysics live on hers. Maydel’s swamp lives on hers.
Names below follow the English Steam build. Korean community pages sometimes transliterate Rims as Lims and Canele as Kaneule. If the portrait says Rims & Berry, that is the in-game English.
Sil — Thread Witch (playable)
Sewing-doll proportions, orange hair, blue ribbon, scissors larger than her torso. Optimistic in the way a grandmother who sews is optimistic: everything can be mended if you keep the thread taut. Team Tapas tried an East-Asian-themed protagonist first and threw it out because it did not match the Garden. Thread stayed because Sil’s job is connection.
You fight as her. You do not fight her. Cottage hub, Armory, Book, Canele, then out the door.
Canele — the cat
Talking, unimpressed, already on the bed when the nightmare tentacle arrives. Not a boss. A roommate. If a run is going badly, Canele will not fix it. Level up and change scissors.
Fiena — drunk witch, greenhouse
First named duel for most players. Mushrooms, hookah, beetle picnic, slow body, nasty satellites. Team Tapas members voted her a studio favorite. She is warm when drunk and a problem when she is not listening. Full page: Fiena. Fight recipe: how to beat Fiena. Sil yelling that the tea party is already too late is the tutorial for the whole plot: nobody else will host.
Abigail — Pumpkin Witch, farm
Scarecrow body language, sickle cones, extra fireballs, a gift box you should kill. Crows are her attribute because she likes being alone. Full page: Abigail. Nightmares do not allow hobbies. If you came here from a “cute roguelike” trailer, Abigail is the first reminder that cute is the art, not the telegraph.
Rims & Berry
Pink hair, RIP headband, graffiti love letter. “With love, Rims & Berry” is an in-game caption, not a fan meme. Treat them as a tempo fight and a two-body problem. They are why piercing Magic Scissors and ground fields exist.
Chloe
Later in the roster. Community pages place her after the farm and the twins. The campaign’s nasty book-and-spider screenshots live in this era: many eyes, a witch reading while the floor burns, HP numbers that do not care about chapter-one Fireball. If a patch splits that fight under a different header, the roster will follow Steam. Until then, prepare as if chapter four wants your dash cooldown upgraded.
Nahatra — Dream Witch
The Garden is her dream. Witches were born in darkness, asked to visit, and stayed. The tea party is a lullaby with a contract. If it is missed, nightmares leak and the Garden starts to come apart. She is the setting, the finale, and the reason Sil is allowed to hit her friends with scissors. More on her page.
Maydel — Swamp Witch (Epilogue 1)
Single map, waves, mid-bosses, a clock that pays for greed. Help her and she gifts Singing Scissors. Full page: Maydel. She is the first post-game witch and the bridge into Epilogues 2 and 3, which 1.0 actually finishes.
Epilogue 2 and 3 additions
1.0’s pitch was “return to the Garden and meet the new witches you need to gather.” Their proper names belong in this table once you have seen their portraits in your own Book. This roster will not invent them. Check version 1.0 and the in-game chapter select after Epilogue 1.
How the roster maps to systems
Early Access used to unlock systems by chapter (synergies in two, relics in three, and so on). 1.0 puts the identity in the Armory and uses chapters to teach bosses instead of menus. You still feel the difficulty curve: Fiena is a conversation, Abigail is a cone exam, the later book fight is a floor exam, Nahatra is a memory exam. Relics and imprints are how you keep up. See best builds if the roster is outrunning your kit.
Japanese voice-over covers the main story in 1.0. Portraits change per line — this is a talking game as much as a dashing game. Skip only on retries.
If you are hunting a specific tell, stop reading bios and open the boss guide. If you are hunting a reason to care, stay here. The coven is small on purpose. Team Tapas is fewer than ten people; they would rather you remember Fiena’s hookah than a list of forty elites.
